Worthington H. School

We are one school in two buildings. Our students are partnered as grade level buddies to ensure that there is a sense of community and belonging between both buildings. We constantly do many activities to integrate our whole school, such as monthly Town Meetings.

Worthington Hooker is New Haven’s most culturally diverse school. We take great pride in our multicultural and international student population. We value the variety of attributes and qualities that we each bring.

We strive to support a school culture that models academic excellence and respect for all, and equitable opportunities.

We foster an arts-infused approach to learning. We help each child realize his/her potential to become a responsible and productive citizen of the world.

We are fortunate to have a wonderful afterschool program with a wide variety of enrichment opportunities.

Our PTA is outstanding and has a strong collaboration with our school. We enjoy hosting many activities for families.

We are looking forward to an amazing year. You will find all orientation materials on our website. All students should anticipate a back to school packet coming in the mail with a special letter from each of your teachers.
